Okay I’ll admit it, I am a serial snacker.
I LOVE food and constantly graze throughout the day so any healthy, tasty snacks I can get my hands on are a winner.
I was therefore excited to meet some amazing food brands at the recent Bloggers Hangout tea party event and find out a bit more about what makes each of their products extra special.
After faffing around with my camera and bags after arriving at the Bloggers Hangout event (typical blogger) one of the first brands I talked to was Modo drinks.
Combining matcha tea and fruit flavours, either lemon or pineapple, these had a surprisingly lovely taste.
I’ve been frequently warned about the horrible taste of matcha but there was no real trace of it in these, which was nice.
Right next to Modo drinks was MeadHo.
I’ve never tried Mead before but I really enjoyed the sweet taste of it and I’m going to see if I can track down a few bottles to enjoy at home.
I also really loved their display at the event – the wood and fairy lights was really pretty.
A couple of the brands at the event were in the process of re-branding their products and it was interesting to see how they were developing.
I quite enjoy giving feedback on products, especially their design, so it was nice to feel involved in their design process.
One of the brands I just had to talk to was Pic’s Peanut Butter.
When I was younger I was actually allergic to peanut butter but, luckily, it seems to be something I’ve grown out of and I now really enjoy the taste.
I typically go for the smooth variety but after tasting their crunchy version I’m tempted to pick a couple of tubs up.
There’s nothing I love more than treating myself to chocolate and The Cocoa Den‘s creations were amazing.
I’ve never longed for a chocolate pineapple before, but after seeing these I really feel like I need one in my life.
They also had some truffles on their display and they were so delicious I was tempted to just stay put sampling each and every one!
On paper honey water doesn’t really appeal to me but after tasting these I’m now sold.
Just Bee have created some delicious flavours and the honey perfectly compliments every flavour combination they’ve chosen.
I can’t wait to pick up a couple more cartons of these.
I really enjoyed getting to know more food brands via the Bloggers Hangout – I don’t feature much food on my blog but meeting this lovely lot has inspired me to talk about more.
If I had to choose my favourite three from the day it would have to be Modo drinks, Just Bee and Pic’s Peanut Butter.
I’ll be keeping an eye out for them on my next food shops!
