My goody bag picks from the Blogger Halloween Party

The Blogger Halloween Party

Of course, events are not all about the goody bags, but as I’ve written up a full feature on the event for Blogosphere magazine (you can get your hands on a copy in early December) and this goody bag included some amazing products and brands I really felt I should share it on my blog.

The goody bag was packed full of amazing products, and I really can’t wait to get stuck into using them*.

I’m going to give a mini review of each below, so read on for a selection of new and interesting products!

Food & Drink

goodyfull Organic Cacao Powder – This powder has a dark chocolate flavour and I’m looking forward to making some seriously tasty hot chocolates using it this winter! The powder includes antioxidants, meaning anything I make with it is practically guilt-free…right?!

Baru Dark Chocolate Marshmallow – I had one of these after Scarlett’s Bloggers Festival and oh boy are they good! I’m sticking this in my backpack for when I need a little pick-me-up during my work day.

Twisted Halo Coconut Water and Ginger Vodka drink – I’m doing No Drink November so sadly can’t try this out *sob* I’m going to save it for when my month of no alcohol is over but I thought it was worth a mention because I love the design of the bottle and the flavour sounds amazing.

Makeup

L’Oreal Infallible Sexy Balm – How cute are these?! I love the sheer wash of colour they give and the packaging is super sleek. I’ve been rocking statement matte lips a lot recently so I’m looking forward to toning it down and giving these a go.

Flutter makeup sponge – I love using makeup sponges to apply my makeup. I find they give a really natural finish and make the whole process of applying foundation a lot easier! I love the kitten design on the packaging of this one.

Papier Poudre blotting sheets – I haven’t used blotting papers in SO long (slap on the wrist for me) but I really like using them on my chin because as the hours tick by it always ends up getting oily. I like that these come in mini booklets and I’m going to pop one in each of the bags I regularly use.

Skincare, haircare, fragrance

Dr Botanicals Superfood Facial Oil – I really enjoy testing out new skincare, and this facial oil just sounded too good not to give it a go! It’s a very light formula and I use this 2-3 times a week as a skin treat in the evening. I’m looking forward to seeing if it helps to keep my skin looking healthy and radiant.

tints of nature Hydrate Treatment – As you probably know, my hair is currently a mix of purple and blue tones so any haircare products that protect colour get a solid YES from me. I’ve used this once before and it did leave my hair feeling nice and soft, so I’m going to continue to use it 1-2 times a week.

The Perfume Studio custom fragrance – The Perfume Studio were showcasing at the event and I was able to create my own perfume while I was there (which was AMAZING). I’m addicted to the scent I created and I’m looking forward to stocking up on a bigger bottle of it when I run out of this little vial. The scent I created has a woody base note, exotic floral and spicy middle notes and a transparent top note.

Stationery

My Way Travel Journal – I do love a cute journal and I can’t wait to get scribbling in this one! I typically use mine to plan blog posts and write out shopping lists, so it’s unlikely that this will be used for travel plans and memories, but I don’t think that really matters.

Phew, so those are my picks from the Blogger Halloween Party goody bag! I hope you’ve enjoyed hearing a bit more about each brand and product that donated their products.
