Buying for difficult friends
We all have one…that friend who’s practically IMPOSSIBLE to buy for!
Now that it’s November, I’ve started planning what I’m going to buy for who and I thought I should share some of my top picks for friends that are just that bit more tricky to buy for.
Hopefully my suggestions will give you some inspiration and save you a mad dash round the shops…
The beauty gift set
Gift sets are such a life saver when it comes to finding a present you know someone will like.
So many brands do gift sets, you’re certain to find one for them from their favourite brand.
The Big Chill* set from Dirty Works is one of my favourites, the packaging is really pretty and each set comes with a shower cap, bath soak, body butter and shower puff.
If you want to spend a little bit more and get them something really special, an engraved piece of jewellery can be perfect.
Merci Maman have an amazing selection of jewellery that can be engraved and the ring* I have from them is one of my favourite pieces of jewellery, I wear it practically every day!
Customisable makeup palettes
If your friend is a huge makeup junkie, why not get them a customised palette full of their favourite shades?
Makeup Obsession have six and twelve pan palettes that are incredibly easy to put together (like mine above*), with a huge range of highlighters, blushers, bronzers and eyeshadows to pick from.
Surprising them with a palette you’ve built just for them will make your present extra special!
The fandom pick
Are they a die hard fan of Bake Off? Have they seen every episode of Game of Thrones? Twice?
Why not pick something linked to their favourite programme, you can be sure they’ll love it and the novelty is more exciting than buying something generic.
This star baker apron* is my top pick, I’m sure lots of my fellow Bake Off fans would agree that it’s brilliant!
