Something exciting is happening over on this blog…
I’ve decided to shake things up this year and take a more editorial approach to the way I run my little corner of the internet. I’ve been wanting to make some positive changes this year, as I mentioned in my resolutions blog post, and I think this is the perfect way to start.
From now on each month of the year is going to have a theme, and all of the content I create for that month will be tied (sometimes very loosely) to the theme in some way.
I’ve been looking for a way to make my blog content a bit more interesting and unique, and I really feel these monthly themes will make my content just that bit more exciting to create and (hopefully) read!
I’m kicking off January with ‘Wellbeing‘, and if you want to know how this will translate into my fashion, beauty and lifestyle sections please continue reading below…
I’m sure you’re probably wondering how fashion and wellbeing tie together, well let me tell you!
I’m taking this in two directions – by dressing myself in clothes that make me feel good and being a bit more ethical in where and the ways I shop.
Keep an eye out for blog posts on my ultimate feel-good fashion items, my most flattering outfit and how to nail charity shopping.
I’m taking things back to basics when it comes to my beauty routine, so keep an eye out for posts relating to natural beauty, skin pampering and ethical products.
I’m going to be sharing some of my favourite indulgent skincare products, how to cheat a healthy glow and guilt-free beauty buys.
When it comes to my lifestyle content, I want to spend some time reflecting on my own mental wellbeing, and how I’m aiming to improve it.
I’m going to open up a bit about some things I’ve been struggling with, accepting who I am (ooh, deep) and why I struggle with wellbeing.
I hope you guys are all as excited as I am for this switch up on DippyWrites, I really think it’s going to improve the content I make and help my blog posts to stand out.
Let me know what you think of the change below and any themes you would like to see me do for future months!
