Mini beauty reviews
I’ve been sent so many bits and pieces recently, instead of dedicating full blog posts to each one I thought I would do one big round-up of mini reviews. I love reading posts like this, so I’m hoping you’ll enjoy my version of them!
In this round-up, we have a mini set of shampoo and conditioners from Rita Hazan, a gorgeous mascara from Timeless Beauty and a couple of organic products from Lavera.
Rita Hazan shampoo and conditioner*
Firstly, these smell delicious, and I’ve been told Rita was very specific about getting the scent right! They have that gorgeous salon smell so I’m looking forward to using these on my next trip away/home to visit my parents.
The true colour range has been formulated with coloured hair in mind, which is perfect for me because my hair has been coloured within an inch of its life…They claim to help maintain and prolong colour, so I’m interested to see if they will.
Timeless Beauty Class Act mascara*
If you’re a fan of big mascara brushes, then this is the one for you! The fibre brush is great for building volume and I’m looking forward to seeing how it competes with Too Faced’s Better Than Sex mascara (which I am currently addicted to).
The formula is supposed to give you longer, thicker and fuller lashes in 30 days, but I’m not too sure about how much you would notice the results (especially if you only wear makeup 2-3 times a week like I do). I would buy this for the gorgeous packaging and volumising brush.
Lavera eyeshadow and lipgloss*
I’ve been a bit lazy with my eyeshadow recently, opting for just a wash of one colour which I blend into my crease after applying. Therefore, this midnight blue Lavera eyeshadow is perfect for me, and I think it would make a gorgeous smokey eye.
The lipgloss is a sheer wash of transparent sparkle, so I think I’m going to save this for applying over the top of my matte lipsticks to make them a bit more exciting.
