As you might have read recently, I went to Paris on a day trip with my mum at the end of February and of course I just had to pay a visit to Sephora when I was in the city!
The Sephora on the Champs-Élysées is one of the biggest in the world, and walking around it was pretty overwhelming. While I was tempted to pick up some makeup there, I honestly didn’t need any more so I instead decided to pick up a few skincare bits that I knew I would use.
I’ve heard a lot about the Sephora sheet masks, so I just knew I had to pick a couple up and when I spotted their new micellar range I couldn’t resist picking up a mini bottle to try.
Rose Micellar Cleansing Milk
I was just too intrigued by this to let it go, so I picked up a bottle and have since used it. I’m sure you’ve heard all about how amazing micellar water is, my personal favourite is Garnier’s offering, and it truly is the best product I’ve found for removing makeup.
Sephora now have a collection of cleansing waters, gels and milks – each of which offers a different skincare benefit. I opted for the rose version, which claims to moisturise and brighten, and I have to say so far I’m impressed!
It’s just as good as Garnier’s at removing makeup and has a lovely rose scent which, personally, gives it an edge on it’s competition.
I have an 100ml bottle (perfect for travelling) and you can find it on the Sephora website for $7.50. It may be a lot more expensive than Garnier’s, but it’s going to be a useful hand luggage addition when I’m travelling.
Rose lip mask
I’ve been wanting to try a lip mask for SO LONG now so I just had to pick one up in Sephora.
My lips tend to get really dry in winter, and with the recent changes in the weather they’ve been really dehydrated. Therefore, I picked up the rose version of the lip mask, which claims to moisturise and soften your lips.
The lip mask can be picked up for just $3, which in my opinion is a total bargain! These masks are definitely an indulgent treat, but worth it for how good they make you feel after using them.
Pearl face mask
Finally, I picked up one of their sheet face masks. I’ve been using sheet masks for months now, and they’re such a great way to relax after a long week.
Sephora have quite a few variations on these masks, and I decided to pick up the pearl one, which claims to perfect and brighten skin. My skin is fairly normal, so I thought one that focuses on brightening my skin tone would be best!
Each face mask is $6, which is a little expensive, but something I’m happy to pay to make my mini pamper sessions just that little bit more special.
