Mary Kay makeup
Mary Kay is a brand I haven’t really tried much from, so when I was sent a few pieces from their collection to test out, I was excited to see how I got on with them. As you can see above, the colours of these are perfect for Spring and Summer (nice and bright) so I felt now was the perfect time to feature them and introduce you to the brand!
I have a blusher and highlighter combo and two lipsticks from the range, you can read my mini reviews of them each below…
Mineral Cheek Colour Duo in Ripe Watermelon*
This is such a bright pink, it immediately makes me think of summer! This duo comes with a blusher and highlighter, and I think they’re the perfect combination. The blusher is very bright, so I think I’m going to use it sparingly and make sure I really blend it in. The highlighter has a slight pink tint to it, which I think will really suit my skin tone. I’m going to use it across my cheekbones and on my cupids bow.
You can find it here for £14
True Dimensions Sheer Lipstick in Arctic Apricot and Flamenco Red*
How pretty are these colours?! The sheer finish makes these perfect for spring and summer, and I think they’re going to look best with a tan. The Arctic Apricot shade looks like the perfect neutral shade while Flamenco Red is an easy-to-wear bold shade.
You can find the sheer lipsticks here for £14 each.
I’m really looking forward to adding each of these to my spring and summer makeup routine, especially the lipsticks as I love wearing sheer finishes as the weather gets warmer. Keep an eye out for swatches of them on my Instagram Stories (@AlbertineSarah if you’re not already following)!
