Being by Sanctuary Spa

Being are a very new brand on the beauty scene, I like to think of them as the (much) younger sister of their overarching brand, Sanctuary Spa. I’ve had lots of Sanctuary Spa Christmas gift sets in the past, and while I used to find their packaging a bit boring and unappealing they’ve definitely stepped it up recently, with the introduction of exciting new products and packaging and the launch of Being.

As soon as I saw Gracie Francesca advertising the launch of the brand, I knew I had to get myself a slice of the action, so off I popped to Boots to spend approximately 40 minutes picking up and putting down products from the range before settling on a couple to try.

I couldn’t bring myself to mix and match products from different scent categories (I really like to have everything matching where I can) and after deciding I liked the scent and graphic of the Hibiscus and Coconut Water range the most, I settled on buying a body wash and body scrub to test out. I opted for these because, realistically, they were the products I knew I would get the most use out of.

Scent-wise, Hibiscus and Coconut Water is STRONG!! The scent is very prominent, which I love because I feel it means the fragrance lingers for a lot longer, and I would describe it as a fruity scent with hints of coconut. It’s not sickly sweet, probably because of the floral tones, but be aware that it is strong so not for those of you who like a more subtle fragrance in your shower products!

Hibiscus & Coconut Water Body Wash

Hibiscus & Coconut Water Body Wash

I have a shameful stash of shower gels, there’s just so many of them I’m sure they’ll last me for the rest of the year! That said, I couldn’t resist picking this up and popping it in my shower to test out. The gel itself is thicker than most body washes I have used, which I actually prefer as it makes it feel a bit more luxurious to use.

As I mentioned above, the scent of this is very strong, which I absolutely love, it definitely perks up my mornings. This retails at £6 which is quite expensive for a shower gel, but worth it if you want to treat yourself to something that feels a bit special this summer.

Would I buy again? Yes. But I would probably wait for a 3 for 2, or 50% off offer so I could stock up on a couple of bits at the same time.

Hibiscus & Coconut Water Body Scrub

Hibiscus & Coconut Water Body Scrub

I love a good body scrub, and now that I’m fake tanning regularly to maintain a healthy glow, a good body scrub is essential in my shower. This one has a jam-like texture, which I personally love because it means it feels a lot more moisturising on my skin compared to grittier scrubs I’ve used in the past.

My only issue with this is that it’s in a pot, which means it can get a bit messy when I’m using it (pretty sure half of it ended up on my shower walls/down the drain first time I used it *sob*). Based on how much I use per shower, I think this should last me a good 3-4 weeks.

Would I buy again? Definitely! This is my favourite body scrub to date, purely because of the jam-like, softer texture. This is £9, and worth every penny in my eyes.

There’s currently a free gift when you spend £11 on Being (online and in Boots shops) offer on, and I made use of it to pick this wash bag up. I’m really glad I did because this is really cute and the perfect size for transporting beauty minis with me when I’m travelling.
