All of the sparkle from Glo&Ray

Glo & Ray new makeup products

Glo&Ray new things

How exciting are these new bits?! Glo&Ray are a brand I came across earlier this year, and they’ve been kind enough to keep me updated on their new launches. A couple of weeks ago a bundle of pretty products arrived with me and as soon as I opened them I was itching to test them out because oh my god, how gorgeous are these?!

It almost feels like a Christmas capsule collection because it’s all about the gold and glitter. That said, I’m sure I will get use out of these products way before Winter arrives with us, they’re just too pretty not to get stuck into them now. I have a colour-changing gold lipstick and three loose powders in varying metallic shades.

Gold Fever lip colour

I am obsessed, OBSESSED, with this lipstick because I’ve never seen anything like it before! In the bullet it’s a solid gold colour that’s just stunning but when you swatch it you get a true red shade. Unfortunately, when you do use it the gold finish does come off, leaving the bullet a red colour, but I still enjoy the novelty! The finish of the lipstick is satin, which I find is the most comfortable finish to wear on the lips and as you can see above the colour is really pigmented.

Pure Galaxy Eye Pigments

Pure Galaxy Eye Pigments

I rarely use eye pigments, purely because they can be a bit messy to work with, but these Glo&Ray ones are just so gorgeous I’m going to make an acception and give them a go. These three pigments are galaxy themed, and I love the metallic finish they each have. As you can see, they’re all really shimmery which I love and think are perfect for creating an evening eyeshadow look.

More Electric eye pigment

More Electric – This is a beautiful chrome purple shade that’s really different from anything else I have in my makeup collection. It’s not something I’ll use regularly but it’s perfect for special occasions.

Goldmania eye pigment

Goldmania – This isn’t the most gold shade I’ve seen, but it still is a pretty shade! It’s a dark copper that I’ll wear across my eyelids and blended into my crease.

Dazzle Dazzle eye pigment

Dazzle Dazzle – This is probably the most ‘neutral’ of the colours, and I think it’s the one I will use the most. It’s a light bronze shade, so perfect for wearing during the day and night!
