Inside the June Blogosphere goody bags

Blogosphere blog awards goody bag

Blogosphere goody bags

June was a busy month for Blogosphere, we had two big events (the issue 13 cover reveal and our very own blog awards) which meant I spent many hours packing Blogosphere goody bags for the events!

We had so many amazing brands* in the Blogosphere goody bags, I thought it would probably be a good idea to give you a run down of what was included in each one and share my first impressions of each product. Just a warning, this is going to be a very long blog post so strap in for a hearty read…

The London Tea Company samples

The London Tea Company

Goody bag: Blogosphere Blog Awards

I’ve been a fan of The London Tea Company since first trying their teas, so it was nice to have them in our goody bags again. The Raspberry Inferno teas is one of my favourites, it’s a spicy raspberry flavour that’s different to anything I’ve ever tasted before. The Purple Tea is new, and this summer I think I’m going to be drinking it iced.

You can shop The London Tea Company’s various flavours here.

Desenio blue cotton plant print

Desenio print

Goody bag: Blogosphere Blog Awards

I don’t have any art in my room right now, and I’ve always been envious of the prints my flatmate Freya has in her room, so when Desenio gifted everyone attending the blog awards a print, I was really excited to frame the one I was given and hang it in my room! I have this beautiful blue cotton plant print which I think will look lovely when it’s hung up.

You can find it here.

Fentimans soft drinks rose lemonade

Fentimans soft drinks

Goody bag: Blogosphere Blog Awards

I’ve been a fan of Fentimans ever since I first came across them last year, their soft drinks are delicious and they do some really great tonic waters that go perfectly with gin over ice and with a slice of lime. The Rose Lemonade and Wild English Elderflower are my two favourite flavours, and when they’re served cold they’re really refreshing in the summer!

You can find out more about Fentimans here.

Splat Global Biomed toothpaste with coconut

Splat Global Biomed toothpaste with coconut

Goody bag: Blogosphere Blog Awards

Splat Global gave us a few oral care samples for the awards goody bags and I’m so intrigued by this coconut toothpaste I just had to share it with you! I’ve tried the travel sized Blackwood toothpaste they also put in the goody bags and I really like it! It has a slightly fruity taste to it which is a nice change from the intense minty flavour I’m used to.

You can find the coconut toothpaste here.

Moskito Guard Insect Repellant Lotion

Moskito Guard Insect Repellant Lotion

Goody bag: Blogosphere Blog Awards

How cute is this? This slim insect repellant is the perfect size for slipping into your hand luggage and I’m definitely going to take mine with me when I go to the south of France in August! Insect repellant is one of those things I always forget to pack in my bag, but it’s so useful to bring with you, especially if you’re going somewhere hot.

You can find more Moskito Guard products here.

Blistex Cherry Intensive Moisturiser

Blistex Cherry Intensive Moisturiser

Goody bag: issue 13 cover reveal

I’ve been using this for the past couple of weeks, I have a tube on my desk in the office, and I’ve honestly fallen in love with it! It’s a moisturising cream that feels so lovely on my lips and leaves them feeling super hydrated once it has sunk in. I really like the cherry scent too, it’s so delicious!

You can find the moisturising balm here.

Pixi Flawless & Poreless primer

Pixi Flawless & Poreless primer

Goody bag: Blogosphere Blog Awards

Hand on heart, this primer is just lovely to use! If, like me, you tend to use a mattifying foundation, then this primer is going to be perfect for you. It’s a paste that really helps to blur your pores and provide a smooth base to apply foundation on top of.

You can find the primer here.

Neutrogena Visibly Clear Pink Grapefruit moisturiser

Neutrogena Visibly Clear Pink Grapefruit moisturiser

Goody bag: issue 13 cover reveal

This moisturiser came in the most gorgeous pink flamingo printed box, but unfortunately I managed to rip mine a bit so couldn’t photograph it! This moisturiser is really lightweight and has a lovely pink grapefruit scent to it. It’s perfect for wearing during the day and feels lovely on my skin.

You can find it here.

White Rabbit Comfort Cleansing Balm

White Rabbit Comfort Cleansing Balm

Goody bag: issue 13 cover reveal

I love using cleansing balms on my skin, I have quite dry skin so using a balm is a great way to clean my skin without compromising on hydration. This is a really thick balm and this mini tin is perfect for taking with me for weekend stays at home.

You can find out more about White Rabbit skincare here.

Eco Tools Perfecting Blender Duo

Eco Tools Perfecting Blender Duo

Goody bag: Blogosphere Blog Awards

I love using makeup sponges to apply my foundation and blend it my concealer. I tend to use a BeautyBlender or one from Nanshy, but I’m excited to give these two a go and see what I think. They suggest using the larger one to apply product all over the face and the smaller one for a more precise application (eg. with concealer).

You can find the duo here.

Benefit 3D Browtones shade 2

Benefit 3D Browtones

Goody bag: issue 13 cover reveal

I’ve been a fan of Benefit products for a while (as you can see in my post on their Brow Zings and Precisely, My Brow products here) so I was excited to see Benefit were putting their 3D Browtones product into the cover reveal goody bags! This is great for creating a quick brow look and I love the sleek silver packaging.

You can find the 3D Browtones product here.

So...? Fragrance Iced Melon Body Mist

So…? Fragrance Iced Melon Body Mist

Goody bag: Blogosphere Blog Awards

I have a hefty stash of So…? Fragrance body mists in my room now, and I love using them for a quick top up of fragrance during the day. This Iced Melon one is perfect for summer, it’s a very light, subtle scent that I love spritzing on just before heading out of the door for work.

You can find the body mists here.

Shea Moisture Curl Enhancing Smoothie

Shea Moisture

Goody bag: issue 13 cover reveal

I’ve used a couple of Shea Moisture products in the past and they’re honestly so good! They’ve been in a few Blogosphere goody bags now, and so I’ve accumulated a couple of products from them. The curl enhancing smoothie smells delicious, and I’m going to use it on days I’ve decided to leave my hair natural and curly. I’m hoping the leave-in conditioner will help to keep my hair super soft and conditioned throughout the day, and I can’t wait to start testing it out.

You can find Shea Moisture’s products here.

Miss Sporty My BFF Lipstick Miss Sporty My BFF Lipstick swatches

Miss Sporty My BFF Lipstick

Goody bag: Blogosphere Blog Awards

Miss Sporty put a lipstick, mascara and nail polish into every goody bag and this lip colour is so pretty, I just had to share it with you. It’s the perfect baby pink, and as you can see it’s a sheen formula which I think is going to be really comfortable on my lips.

You can find the My BFF lipsticks here.
