Makeup for when you want a work-appropriate glow

Work appropriate glow

Most days I don’t tend to wear makeup (purely because I would rather have an extra 20 minutes in bed than get up early to apply products to my face) but on the days I do I like to get that lit from within look. I’m not exactly the best at highlighting and contouring, but when I do take the time to do my makeup I like to give my cheeks a healthy glow that’s more bronzed goddess than disco ball on crack.

For the look above I went for a rose gold blusher, shimmery copper eyeshadow, defined eyebrows and a sheer pink lipstick. Whenever I do my makeup like this I feel extra af because my skin is glowing and all of my features are defined without anything looking too fake or caked on.

To create this look I stuck to just using GOSH products (apart from the foundation and lipstick). They’re honestly one of my favourite brands because all of their products are such high quality and never fail to amaze me with how well they work. For example, the mascara I used for this gave me the most amazing length and volume without leaving me with lots of mascara stuck on my eyelids or my lashes clumped together.

GOSH Autumn Winter makeup collection GOSH Rose Gold Lumi Drops

GOSH Rose Gold Lumi Drops*

I’m already a huge fan of the GOSH Lumi Drops, they’re so easy to work with and they give such a subtle, natural finish without compromising on glow. This is the Rose Gold version and it’s perfect for highlighting my cheekbones while giving them some colour.

I like to layer this with the Strobe n’ Glow Blush kit over the top for a really pretty peachy pink cheek with a big kick of glow. I apply the blusher with a stippling brush to keep the finish subtle, anything with denser bristles would give too heavy a finish I think!

GOSH Colour Corrector Kit

I bloomin’ love these, they’re so perfect for evening out your skin tone before you apply a foundation over the top. I tend to use the green shade a lot to cover my redness and the peach shade is brilliant for eliminating dark circles under my eyes. These are quite a hard consistency, but I like that because it means they really lock in place and stay put all day.

If you like your shimmer, then this palette is the one for you! The swatches above are just one swipe and as you can see they are super pigmented. They’re really easy to blend, and when I used the GOSH eyeshadow primer underneath them they really did stay put all day. I used the shade to the left all over my eyelids and blended out for the eyeshadow look above, but if you want something a little bit more dramatic there are some darker shades to play around with.

I’m really loving GOSH’s makeup offerings right now, they’ve got some really brilliant pieces for creating a glowy, flawless makeup look that makes me feel like a radiant goddess.
